  1. What a great cause and what a lovely person Brenda is, too. I wrote to tell her about buying her Whiskey River series that you recommended and she wrote right back to me. We have diabetes in our family, so I am going to check out the auction. Thanks Jane again for all of your wonderful books, the authors you interview here for us and for your work with Brenda on her auction!

  2. Awesome!! I bought the set!!! Thanks and I’ve watched Brenda’s mission and Auction grow ever larger each year with such wonderful items!!!

  3. I won a few items in the Brenda Novak Auction for Diabetes but if I could bid on any item it wouls be the 8-Day/7-Night DYING FOR A DAIQUIRI ESCAPE TO PARADISE (Hawaii!).

  4. I would bid on a dream vacation for me and hubby so we could finally take a honeymoon.
I have bid on several smaller items 🙂

  5. I would bid on the kindle for my mom. It would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift for her. I do need a new purse… so bid on two items 🙂

  6. I’ve won a few items on Brenda’s auctions; I am Diabetic myself.

I’d bid on one of the basket deals

  7. I would bid on the Kindle. I am going to go get this set of books. There are some fantastic authors in these books.

  8. ready to bid on something soon; this really caught my eye! Set of 4 Autographed Paperback Novels From Author Jade Lee + A Special Bonus Prize!

  9. I am a basket and purse kind of girl myself. I am hoping to bid on something in a basket.

  10. There is just so much! I’d probably bid on one of the agent evals (which I might actually do). Crazy good stuff for a great cause.

  11. I would bid on lunch with you. Just like I did last year 🙂

And I’ll bid on the kindle too.

  12. So many wonderful items, such a the Kindle with book, IPad mini, lunch with you and all for a good cause

  13. 🙂
Kindle for sure! I’m so behind the times (just got my first iPod last week) … that would help me catch up!
    🙂

  14. If I had unlimited money, I would just bid on everything…so many fun prizes…then I could share and keep some for myself!!! Love this cause!!

  15. Since I have a Kindle already I would bid on 2-Night Stay @ Marriott’s Monarch At Sea Pines,
Hilton Head Island, SC. I think I might bid on it. 🙂 I asked DH and he said he would go. 🙂
I would love to do the Downton Abbey/London trip. Does that include airfare? I don’t think I could get anyone to fly over the pond with me.

  16. First I want to say what Brenda, Jane, and the rest of these wonderful authors are doing is a great thing. I am honored to be a part of it. And I did purchase the set, just wish I could do more. If I could bid on anything, it would be either the Maui vacation or the London vacation. The reason is I have not had a vacation in almost 30 years, and it would be a great gift for my son and I to do before he graduates and heads off to college. As always thank you Jane for great giveaways, you always go above and beyond! Barbara

  17. I have not bid on anything yet, but I will. Last year I won 4 different auctions, but this year I am on a tighter budget.

I did buy the Sweet Life and love that it is like a gift for us and we get to help out others.

  18. Bidding on several items. I’d like to also bid on the Eval of Partial by Alexandra Greene, Park Literary Group and Paula Eykelhof of Mira Books. Too many wonderful items to bid on. What a great cause. I do wish I could do so much more.

  19. I would love to win the lunch with Brenda Novak and Jill Shalvis at RWA this year. I live in San Antonio, so no travel on my part!

The auction has so many neat items. It would be fun to bid on a lunch or breakfast with the authors!

  21. I’ve already bid on a few things–and was outbid! Last year, I just made a flat fee donation.

  22. I would bid on a lunch or meet-up with an author if I could afford to bid (maybe one with Steena Holmes?). Many of the baskets loaded with goodies look like they would be fun to bid on also!

I bought my copy of The Sweet Life and have been devouring it, one story at a time. xo to you, Jane!

  23. I’ve bought my copy of A Sweet Life. I love all the travel packages on the auction. What a great cause!!

  24. I love Brenda’s auction and look forward to it every year! I always have a long list of items, etc. that I put on a watch list. I agree with Michelle that I would love to go to lunch with Brenda and Jill Shalvis. I am also bidding on the lunch with Marie Force. Next to your books, I love the McCarthy series that is set on Block Island. 🙂 I always bid on some lovely trips, too, but they end up getting out of my price range most of the time. Thanks for always being a part of this, Jane. It is such a good cause and so much fun to be a part of.

  25. Huge thanks to all of you who’ve helped support this cause and this boxset! A Sweet Life hit the New York Times list and the USA Today list and I couldn’t be more thrilled! You’ve all been incredible. Thank you!
