Happy Valentine’s Day!

Next week is Valentine’s Day and my birthday and as soon as I get this book turned in, I’m going to dive in to the stack of books piled on the corner of my desk.  I think you know how much I love historical romances, and I’m trying to decide what to read first–Loretta Chase’s newest, A Duke in Shining Armor, or Laura Lee Guhrke’s The Trouble With True Love?  (And these are the best decisions to make!) I have two new releases coming up: Take A Chance On Me, the third book in my Love on Chance Avenue series, and my late May Harlequin Presents, Kidnapped For His Royal Duty. They’re both up for pre-order, and Take A Chance … Continue reading Happy Valentine’s Day!

Bramble House Christmas Movie Night!

This Sunday is a big deal for me. My good friend CJ Carmichael’s novel, A Bramble House Christmas, will be a Hallmark movie on Sunday night and I am so very proud of her, and thrilled that this story has found a home on the Hallmark movie channel! CJ has been one of my closest friends for over 20 years (we met before we were ever published!) and CJ was one of the founding authors of Tule, along with Megan Crane and Lilian Darcy. It was at CJ’s cottage at Flathead Lake that we planned our Montana Born stories, and mapped out charming little Marietta where CJ’s Bramble House can be found. This summer I was able to was able … Continue reading Bramble House Christmas Movie Night!

Fun in South Africa

I’m so excited to be back in colorful South Africa with husband Ty. Combining some business and fun, we’ve been having a great time exploring beautiful places like the Cape Peninsula, walking with elephants at the Kariega Game Reserve, taking a road trip on the N2 to Mossel Bay and indulging in the local cuisine at The Africa Cafe. And there’s still so much to do, so much to see! I’m also speaking at ROSA’s Annual National Conference in Melrose, Johannesburg this weekend and so looking forward to the gala dinner on Saturday night. If you’re from Johannesburg, check my events page for details – I’d love to see you there! I must sign off as Ty’s waiting for me … Continue reading Fun in South Africa

Celebrating Life & Love

Four years ago today Ty and I married in Las Vegas.  We wanted a celebration, and we wanted it to be fun.  I hadn’t planned on ever marrying again and I’m a deeply spiritual person but being married by Elvis in a tacky little chapel seemed right.   Why? Because it was Ty and me, combined, doing this–love, life, marriage–our way.  We’d done everything backward to that point and so making our wedding uniquely us, felt right.  It felt hopeful and fresh, making our commitment, new and strong. In just minutes we’re taking off for the Dana Point Harbor to take a boat to Catalina for the night.  It’s a quickie escape as we’ll be back by noon tomorrow, but … Continue reading Celebrating Life & Love

September Q&A with Jane

I’ve been doing lots of interviews this summer in conjunction with the release if It’s You, and my attendance at various writers conferences and book festivals and thought I’d share some of the questions (and answers!) from the interviews. You might already know this stuff but a few of you might be new readers and find it interesting! You’ve just had your 50th book published in June. What has changed in the 15 years since you sold your first book? Besides the massive transformation of the publishing industry?  I’ve changed.  I’m a very different woman now than when I sold that first book back in 2000.  I’m stronger, more confident, and more resilient, too.  I’m also less interested in being … Continue reading September Q&A with Jane

Another Sexy Sheenan!

Last week in between book events for my new women’s fiction release, It’s You, I was also thrilled that my newest romance was out, too. Book 4 in my Taming of the Sheenans series, The Taming of the Bachelor, is available everywhere for those of you with e-readers, and will be a print book in early July.  I’m so excited to take you back to Marietta to meet another smart, sexy Sheenan brother.  Have you met the youngest Sheenan yet? Dillon Sheenan refuses to be tamed… After three years running the family ranch, sexy thirty-year-old Dillon Sheenan has a one way plane ticket out of Montana. He’s eager to put small town life, with its emphasis on brides, babies, and … Continue reading Another Sexy Sheenan!

It’s You Release Day!

It’s finally here!  Release day for It’s You and I couldn’t be happier.  This is a very special book for me and I’ve really been looking forward to sharing it with you all.  It’s You tells a story of love, loss and healing, focusing on Ali and Edie, two women who have both lost the man they loved. Early reviews have been very favorable so I’ve got hopes that you’ll love reading this one too.  It’s very different from what I’ve written before so I can’t wait for your feedback!  Do write and let me know what you think once you’ve had a chance to read it.  And if you have a few minutes extra, please consider leaving a review on … Continue reading It’s You Release Day!

Book two in the Marietta Fair series, Cowgirl Come Home by Debra Salonen is available today and I couldn’t be happier.  Debra’s such a great writer with a strong voice and such wonderful talent.  I love that she’s a Tule author as it’s always a treat to read one of her books!  I knew I had to invite her as a guest on my blog and she agreed. Here’s Debra Salonen to … Continue reading Cowgirl Come Home: Debra Salonen

It’s Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day! My long time readers know how much I love Valentine’s Day and the week surrounding it.  I’ve a birthday just a few days after Valentine’s Day and so I’ve always liked to celebrate hearts and candy and all things pink and red all month long. This year I’m having one of those ‘big’ birthdays and I’m surprisingly excited about turning 50.  My forties were amazing and I think life is just going to keep getting better as I continue to take risks and embrace change and learn new things about me, life and love. To celebrate my birthday and the one year anniversary of Tule being founded, Tule Publishing and I are teaming up to do a … Continue reading It’s Valentine’s Day!
