Next week is Valentine’s Day and my birthday and as soon as I get this book turned in, I’m going to dive in to the stack of books piled on the corner of my desk. I think you know how much I love historical romances, and I’m trying to decide what to read first–Loretta Chase’s newest, A Duke in Shining Armor, or Laura Lee Guhrke’s The Trouble With True Love? (And these are the best decisions to make!) I have two new releases coming up: Take A Chance On Me, the third book in my Love on Chance Avenue series, and my late May Harlequin Presents, Kidnapped For His Royal Duty. They’re both up for pre-order, and Take A Chance … Continue reading Happy Valentine’s Day!

YES. I am excited. Miracle on Chance Avenue is out today. It’s a big deal to me, and I’m really looking forward to hearing what my readers think so get your copy (available in print and as an ebook from Amazon, and as an ebook from iBooks, B&N Nook, Kobo, and Google Play). This story wasn’t an easy one to write as Rory Douglas has had a very hard past and he wasn’t looking for a happy-ever-after but life had different plans for him! Today is also fun because it’s Tule Publishing‘s Ugly Sweater Breakfast at iHOP here in San Clemente and I love pancakes, especially iHOP’s buttermilk pancakes, and now I have a new ugly sweater for the occasion. … Continue reading Release Day! This Sunday is a big deal for me. My good friend CJ Carmichael’s novel, A Bramble House Christmas, will be a Hallmark movie on Sunday night and I am so very proud of her, and thrilled that this story has found a home on the Hallmark movie channel! CJ has been one of my closest friends for over 20 years (we met before we were ever published!) and CJ was one of the founding authors of Tule, along with Megan Crane and Lilian Darcy. It was at CJ’s cottage at Flathead Lake that we planned our Montana Born stories, and mapped out charming little Marietta where CJ’s Bramble House can be found. This summer I was able to was able … Continue reading Bramble House Christmas Movie Night!
I’m so excited to be back in colorful South Africa with husband Ty. Combining some business and fun, we’ve been having a great time exploring beautiful places like the Cape Peninsula, walking with elephants at the Kariega Game Reserve, taking a road trip on the N2 to Mossel Bay and indulging in the local cuisine at The Africa Cafe. And there’s still so much to do, so much to see! I’m also speaking at ROSA’s Annual National Conference in Melrose, Johannesburg this weekend and so looking forward to the gala dinner on Saturday night. If you’re from Johannesburg, check my events page for details – I’d love to see you there! I must sign off as Ty’s waiting for me … Continue reading Fun in South Africa
After an incredible two weeks in Europe researching in Scotland, and getting words down on writer’s retreat in Ireland, I am back in California and trying to get caught up while getting boys ready for school. Jake is wrapping up at Santa Monica College while my middle son Ty starts UCIrvine next month, and my youngest, Mac, begins 3rd grade. I started my next Harlequin Presents in Ireland. It’s a duet with the one and only Caitlin Crews (aka Megan Crane) and so fun to plot a mini-series with her! It so helps my writing and motivation to hear from you, too, and I have loved the emails from my readers telling me much you enjoyed Thomas and Ellie’s fiery … Continue reading Small Town Romances & A Fun Contest!

Unless you’ve just been introduced to me for the very first time, you won’t be surprised when I play fangirl to my longtime pal, Megan Crane. And I’m not a fangirl because she is Dr. Crane and holds a Phd in Literature, or because she’s damn funny, or even because she puts up with me, but I’m a fan because she writes. Megan’s heroes are to die for. I LOVE them. And her heroines are the perfect match for her heroes, too. I don’t know how she does what she does, but CODY, her brand new bullrider story and the 4th in the multi-author American Extreme Bullriding Tour series is beyond delicious. I love it so much and I … Continue reading Megan Crane’s HOT Bullrider : Cody
It has been a whirlwind spring. I can’t believe Mother’s Day has already come and gone! I knew this year would be busy with my 8 year old’s First Communion and my 18 year old’s senior activities, along with all the other graduations happening for my friends and family. But here we are, with prom last week and graduation on Saturday and I couldn’t be more proud of my crew–not because we’re perfect and do anything all that amazing–but because we are a family and we keep sticking together through ups and downs, thick and thin, and its a very real love, with muscle and heart. I’ll have two books out very soon, the 3rd book in my Harlequin Presents … Continue reading Happy Memorial Day & New Releases!
