A Very Beachy Tree

Christmas in Hawaii is so different from Christmas in Bellevue–different decorations and traditions–but still festive and fun.  Mac loved helping put the ornaments on the tree, each blue ball was his “favorite”, and he is having a very hard time resisting the few packages slipped beneath the tree.  Our tree here is a themed tree, with all the ornaments representing Hawaii or the sea.  I’ve collected the ornaments over the past seven years and hope you’ll like this sneak peek into our Hawaii home at Christmas!

Sending love to you and wishes for a very merry Christmas!

Yours,

Jane

Funny how Mac loves the blue ornaments, must remind him of the water and his Dad. This will be a truly special Christmas with your big family and friends so enjoy it all. You make alot of things happen for alot of people. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year….Ruth

I have the exact tree and it’s as white as white on rice. Even in Texas we get a little funk spunk going on. Thank you for the wonderful Christmas card! Merry Christmas to all.

  11. Beautiful tree, Jane! Thank you for sharing it with us. I think we will be needing a sports themed tree in the house next year, there were many sports related ornaments for everyone.

Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!

  12. I love your tree! It’s perfect.

We live on our farm out here in Virginia and our theme is Western and Farm things. It’s so much fun to collect new ornaments.

    Merry Christmas.

  14. Merry Christmas, Jane! Thanks for the card & bookmark. You are so kind to your readers. 🙂

Your tree is pretty. This is the first year that I have really done a themed tree -just red & gold, but I love it. It’s more fun, I think!

Hope the rest of your holiday break is wonderful for you all.

  15. I am in California. I came to take care of my father. Instead, he passed away two days ago. My husband flew down to be with me and help me attend to things. One bright spot was him telling me about your beautiful card. thank you so very much.

  16. LOVE the tree and the very clever ornaments, and loved the Christmas card.
My daughter who is coming into her own as an amazing photographer, couldn’t stop talking about how cool the “feet” shot was.

Hope Christmas with friends and family was great.

    peace out

  17. Actually? I really like your beach theme. Glad you and your family had a wonderful Christmas, I imagine them to be very memorable in such a tropical place, unlike our northern parts.
We visited Pike, just before Christmas.I missed the gum wall, however, down stairs there is a wonderful merchant selling awesome bags, purses, back packs.I’ll be bck to buy one of those corduroy bags:)
Up stairs? past the fish thrower’s? is the ladies selling wonderful Christmas, dried-flower-arrangements-only $10 dollars-they sold like hot cakes:)I love Seattle, so like home:)

Happy New Year, Jane, and thank you for the Christmas card. Hope it wasn’t you who licked all those envolopes, lol.

  19. It’s no fun to be on a social network or to follow someone who never
talks to you. The best examples of the changing marketing environment
right now probably can be found in the movie industry, with such films
as “Snakes on a Plane” and “Cloverfield” being marketed
exclusively through the Internet and relying to a great degree on social networking websites spreading the word.
But other than those who just want to communicate with friends, old and new,
social media is also currently being taken advantage by business oriented people as a way to reach their
target clients and improve their businesses.
