Happy Father’s Day!

I’m really pushing hard to finish this novella and I’ve got to be honest…I’m exhausted.  I need a vacation from writing and getting the new house ready for us, and worrying about the kids who are so sad to leave Bellevue.  But things work out, they always work out, so I’m sharing some photos of my wonderful surfer guy who definitely has his own cool vibe.

He’s in Hawaii right now working, so that I can wrap up my story, so I’m sending a shout out to him, and all the wonderful fathers out there.  Good job Dads!!!

Love to all, and now, sadly, its back to work for me.  Can’t wait to have this story wrapped up and some time away from the computer to just be with my kids.

  1. Keeping you in our prayers Jane. Moving is no fun for me and my family has moved many times. Once you get settled and your boys make new friends and you get in the rhythm of your new life things will be better I hope.

Love the photos of Ty and Mac. Happy Father’s Day to Ty and all the other fathers out there.

  2. Love the pics! I’m hoping your move goes smoothly and the kids settle in quickly. I know how hard a move can be on the kids. Thankfully ours settled in withoug much trouble and are now doing awesome. You’re a great mom, Jane, so I know your boys will adjust quickly with your help. Have a super day 🙂 One day at a time!

  3. I hope you get your vacation. You deserve it after all the work you’ve done and living in a hotel. I need one too. Russ wants to know if that’s Ty’s car. He really likes it and wants to know what year it is. My week has been very stressful. Last Saturday night my kitty Leinani started getting really sick coughing and not about to breath and didn’t eat. We took her to the vet for lots of tests. Turns our she had heart failure. they drained the fluid and kept her overnight. She came home Sunday and Monday night she got bacd again. So, we went back. All the fluids were right abck where they were to start. She didn’t have much chance to survive. We had to put her to sleep Thursday. this has been the hardest week of my life. I was more attached to this cat then anyone ever. I tear up thinking of her right now. I gave Russ a father’s day card and put a special message in it from Ms Nani. He cried too.
