Fresh Pick! The Good Daughter

freshpick150Fun news!  I had an email from Fresh Fiction Friday letting me know that The Good Daughter had been chosen as their Fresh Pick for May 31st.  I am beyond delighted.  If you’d visited Fresh Fiction Friday, you would have seen the cover for The Good Daughter on every page!  Fresh Pick books aren’t based on advertising, but reader feedback, so its really cool that Fresh Fiction readers loved The Good Daughter as much as so many of you.

  10. Hi Jane! Congratulations on the Fresh Pick! How exciting! I’ve just finished reading Lisa Gardner’s TOUCH & GO. Had me guessing almost to the very end. I’m going into hospital again this week for another op (my third in three years, blah!) so I’m hoping to decide between a Tess Gerritsen medical crime thriller (maybe not such a good idea) or a Jill Shalvis Lucky Harbor novel. I’d be taking THE GOOD DAUGHTER into hospital with me but I can’t buy it in ebook format yet here in New Zealand darnit! 😉

  72. I am currently in the middle of two books–one is on my iPad kindle app & it is Nikki Sixx’s “Heroin Diary” – you know from Motley Crue. Secondly, the other book I am reading is for 2 of my 3 book clubs and it is “Let’s Pretend This Never Happened”, a memoir by a blogger, by Jenny Lawson. And I am reading the paperback version of that. I try to spead out my books between physical books, books on my kindle app AND books on my Nook–and books I purchase and books I get at the library. The books I purchase and buy in physical form are those by my favorite authors-like you, of course!

  73. Jane, I just finished reading “The Language of Flowers”, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. Congrats on receiving the “Fresh Pick”:) Btw: I know you like tulips and the definition of the tulip is “declaration of love”!!!(Nice title for a book,ey?

  74. I read the first two books in the Inside Out Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. That was some steamy reading. Whew! The books were awesome! I received an ARC of second book, Being Me, and I’m so glad I could pick it right up & continue. The first book, If I Were You, leaves you hanging! The story is fantastic but I must warn you there is some incredible sex in them! That genre was new to me but the suspense is stellar!

  76. I’m ashamed to say I haven’t read The Good Daughter yet Jane. Yes, I’m a bad fan. :O( In my defense, I just finished my masters in May and I have finally started to tackle my summer reading list!

    I’m currently reading Jennifer Weiner’s Then Came You. It’s a brain worker since every chapter is in a different character’s storyline. I’m expecting them to all intertwine at some point!
