An interview & the Brennan Sisters

I’ve been trying to play catch up in my inbox today and came across an email about a video interview I did with the lovely Diana Belchase.  I met Diana last April at the conference in Maryland, and she was so gracious and easy to talk to during our interview.  Here’s a snippet from the interview, where we talk about The Brennan Sisters, and what my husband, the surfer taught me about life.  Hope you enjoy!

And speaking of the Brennans, I’m still getting a lot of emails about my Brennan Sisters trilogy and I have to say how much I appreciate hearing your thoughts and getting your feedback.   I love that so many of you loved the trilogy, and it means so much to me as a writer that there are readers out there who ‘get’ what I write and do.  You all know how to make me smile and want to write another book!

As a thank you for your support, I’ve got  wonderful Brennan Sisters giveaway for one of you!  Here’s a chance to win a signed copy of all three Brennan books, two gift cards, and some reader treats and sweets. Just tell me what you’re reading now, or what book you’re looking forward to reading soon in the comment section below, and you’re entered to win the trilogy and fun stuff.   That’s it!  Just share with me and you’re entered.  The Brennan Sister Giveaway ends Sunday night at midnight PST and winner will be announced on Monday.

  1. I just finished The Good Wife. I have read them all. SUCH good books and as I said to Jane on Twitter, each one better than the last. I’m reading a novelization of Home Run by Travis Thrasher. Love the interview..now I know what Jane sounds like. 🙂

  8. I am looking forward to reading Sandra Hyatt’s FALLING FOR THE PRINCESS. After she died unexpectedly on Aug 21/11, it took me awhile to find all of her books that I hadn’t read yet. I finally found the last one noted above, and I’m looking forward to curling up with it later this week (and then I’ll be mopey because there are no more new books from her to read – plus I emailed/blogged with her and still miss her infectious optimism/spirit).
Jane, it was great to “put a voice to your face” in the video above. You are an excellent public speaker (clear voiced, able to keep on track, not distracting with “er” and “ah” all the time) and I wish I could hear you speak more often. Congrats on all the good offers coming your way. You certainly deserve them, plus I think the public deserves/wants to see your stories in a variety of media outlets, like a mini series or television show. I can just hear what my 26-year-old daughter’s response would be: “Boo yeah!” LOL.

  9. I just finished “How I Came to Sparkle Again” by Kayla McLaren, which I loved, so I am going to get another of her books and I passed on “Sparkle” to a friend to read.
So excited that the Brennan sisters books could be filmed. I have been “casting” it in my mind; there are some great parts for women in it! Crossing my fingers for you Jane.

  10. I haven’t read your series yet but would love to . I am eagerly awaiting Diana Gabaldon’s Written In My Own Heart’s Blood. Not till June but I’m counting days. :)And Sarah Jio’s Bungalow. I absolutely love her books. Just found her this year.
